Zombie Dust is a single-hopped, medium-bodied American-style pale ale that has garnered rave reviews over the years. It pours a hazy, orange/golden color with a moderate amount of white head and lacing. Not quite a bomb of juice, Zombie Dust does deliver on the tropics and hop flavors with a touch of pine, maybe even a little spice.

The mouthfeel was ever so-slightly creamy and the beer is a bit dry. The carbonation fits squarely in the medium range. And as for booziness, the 6.5% is neither overpowering, nor going to wreck your day. It's an all-around great beer and solid effort by 3 Floyds Brewing Co.

About 3 Floyds Brewing

Three Floyds has been around for 25 years. It was founded by a father and his two sons in Hammond, Indiana. Four years after opening, the brewers moved the brewery to Munster, IN, moving from a 5bbl system to a 15bbl system to a 35bbl brewhouse.

There is a full service kitchen on-site, so 3 Floyds is a fantastic place to grab a bite and a pint. While Zombie Dust is a core, year-round beer, the brewers work to deliver high quality small batch beers that satisfy a variety of palettes.

Beyond Zombie Dust, Alpha King, considered their flagship beer, is another fantastic APA that 3 Floyds brews. Both are better than PBR.
